• Title: Web Designer
   
• The Objective : To maximise the potential of Logic Computers.
   
• The Role: This person will be responsible for taking information provided by the Business Areas, Subject Matter Experts and Editors, adhered to the E-commerce goals, standards and guidelines when producing the web page. Provide web design, development, support, Macromedia Flash media creation and manipulation, image creation, image manipulation, and web optimization for web projects on the Internet, Intranet, Enterprise Portal, WCM and Documentum. Skill sets should include HTML, CSS, XML, XSL, DHTML, XHTML, JavaScript, graphic design, web graphic formats, and product knowledge of: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe ImageReady, Adobe GoLive, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash, and Macromedia Fireworks to complete these projects utilizing the best design & development techniques.
   
• Requirements:
  A qualified candidate will have at least have basic knowledge in Web Design and Development. Candidates must be proficient in CSS, XHTML, Java Script, Flash, use of Web Services, Online design concepts and online trends, and have proven design skills. Dreamweaver or Expressions, Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat , InDesign. Strong computer skills are necessary.
   
• General Function
  Qualified applicants should possess strong attention to detail, excellent client-service skills, and demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Database driven Flash application and web site usability experience a plus.

• DREAMWEAVER
• FrontPage
• PHOTOSHOP
• CSS

• Technical Skills
• A strong background with graphics and Human Computer Interface is desired.
• The best candidate will do graphics and web-site design.
• The successful candidate will possess good problem solving skills with emphasis placed on human factors design in addition to having the following technical qualifications of JavaScript, PhotoShop, HTML, CSS, JSP etc.
